The International Desktop Grid Federation (IDGF) is set up to be long-lived, i.e. after the EDGI and DEGISCO projects that currently support it have finished.

At present, the IDGF organisation is working hard to getting into shape the permanent framework for the organisation structure.

In future IDGF will have paid membership fee for some categories and paid services because IDGF aims to attract active members that really benefit from the services.

IDGF will advise all existing members in advance when shifting from free to paid membership.
